Art-making is an essential skill for critical thinking and nuanced communication; it engages the senses, evokes emotions and stimulates the intellect. As an art educator, I strive toward developing the inner capacities of young people, inspiring thinking, feeling, and the willing of my students. My classroom is an inclusive and joyful place where students can be themselves and express their inner worlds.

Below are examples of my students’ work with color through painting, drawing, and collage.
